Economics Day at Mustang Town

Today was Economics Day at Mustang Town!!! The kids had a blast spending all the money that they have earned over the past couple of weeks. We started our day at the Game Room where kids played games and game boys. Then we walked to the Bakery. They bought cookies and muffins. They LOADED their cookies up with as much icing and sprinkles as they could. Then we went to Pizzeria where we enjoyed pizza and soda. After the Pizzeria we headed over to the much anticipated Thrift Shop. This was probably a highlight of the day. They bought purses, glasses, toys, stuffed animals, etc. They got some really good deals!! After the thrift store we went to "Beckett's Beauty Salon." The boys spiked their hair while the girls( and some boys) got their nails done. They got tatoos, shaved their faces, and the girls braided their hair. After the Beauty shop we were dressed and ready to have some fun at the Karaoke Club. Kids danced and sung on the stage while singing their hearts out. Then we went to the dance club. The kids LOVED showing off their dancing skills at the disco club. When we were tired of dancing, we went to the Carnival and played games. Some kids even colored their hair bright pink, orange, and green!! We also enjoyed some cotton candy. Finally, we went to the movies and watched a short movie. After the movies, the kids had 10 minutes to spend the rest of their money at their favorite store(THRIFT STORE!!!). We had a blast on Economics Day!!!!

Our Pen-Pals

Our Pen pals came to eat lunch with us from Tritt Elementary. We ate lunch and went to recess together. We were so excited to FINALLY meet the kids we have been writing all year!!

Holiday Celebration

We had a fabulous time at our Holiday Celebration!! We started the festivities with hot chocolate and cookies. Then we played a crazy game of "Hot Potato Santa". I think everyone's favorite game was the Bearded Santa Game. Kids put shaving cream on their faces and dunked their faces into a bowl a cotton balls. The team with the most cotton balls won. After we played games, they exchanged their puzzles with their friends. I would like to thank all the parents who came and helped with the party!!
